The HCPL-T250 contains GaAs LED. The LED is optically coupled to an integrated circuit with a power output stage. This optocoupler is ideally suited for driving power IGBTs and MOSFETs used in motor control inverter applications.

The HCFC-T250 contains GaAs leds. The LED is optically coupled to an integrated circuit with a power output stage. The optical coupler is ideal for use in motor control inverter applications with drive power IGBTs and MOSFets. The high operating voltage range of the output stage provides the drive voltage required by the gated device.

The voltage and current provided by this optical coupler make it ideal for direct drive IGBTs with ratings up to 1200 V/25A. For IGBTs with higher ratings, the HCFC-T250 can be used to drive discrete power levels of the IGBT gate.
