A single channel switch that provides configurable rise times

Texas Instruments TPS22997 Load switch is a single channel switch that provides configurable rise time to minimize surge current. The load switch operates in the input voltage range from 0.1V to 5.5V with a maximum continuous current of 10A. The TPS22997 is controlled by an enable pin (ON) that is able to connect directly to a low voltage GPIO signal (VIH = 0.8V).

Features include adjustable voltage-swing rate control, adjustable quick output discharge (QOD), open/drain power normal (PG) signal, and thermal shutdown. The device is available in a 1.5mm x 2.0mm, 0.5mm foot spacing, 10-pin WQFN package (RYZ). The TPS22997 load switch operates from -40°C to 125°C and is ideal for solid-state drives, PCS and laptops, industrial PCS and optical modules.
