AC/ dc is a versatile and cost-effective solution for all environments

     RECOM has introduced the cost effective RACM90-K AC/DC series. It adds a 90W output version to its popular RACM series AC/DC power supply for cost-sensitive applications.

     However, specifications are not compromised, and these parts offer a wide range of 85-264VAC inputs, tightly regulated single outputs including 12V, 15V, 24V, 36V and 48VDC, with operating temperatures ranging from -40C to +90C derated. Safety certifications include 2MOPP/250VAC to IEC/EN/ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1, "B" and "BF" compliant with dual input fuses for medical applications, as well as enhanced isolation standards for industrial, test and measurement, ITE and domestic use, all up to 4000 m height. These components are classified as limited power sources and are suitable for installation in surge Class 3 and overvoltage OVC Class III environments.

     In addition, EN 55032/35 "Category B" emission limits meet large margins. High efficiency and maintained under light load, meeting ErP requirements, no load consumption below 200mW at 230VAC. The series is available as an open card in industry standard 2 "x 4" format, or with an optional metal case.
