     Analog Devices launched the DS28E301 Wire ECDSA security authenticator, which is a cost-effective solution to detect and protect products and prevent products from being forged or abused. The device can be integrated into the existing design or new design as simply and easily as possible through the fixed function password toolbox based on the industry standard FIPS 186 elliptic curve digital signature algorithm (ECDSA), the secure storage of key and application data, and the single contact 1-Wire interface.

     The DS28E30 provides a variety of security functions to manage the use of tools, sensors and other peripherals with limited life. Including monotone, non resettable down counter; The optional 1Kb universal EEPROM protected by ECDSA is used to store application data including terminal product lifecycle information.
