ADI launches long -distance industrial Ethernet products to help processes, factories and buildings automation connection

     Analog Devices, Inc. launched a long -range industrial Ethernet solution to expand its ADI Chronous Industrial Ethernet product series. The solution can provide long -distance Ethernet connections from edge to cloud, support real -time configuration, and can reduce energy consumption and increase asset utilization. The newly launched ADI Chronous products support the 10BASE-T1L physical layer Ethernet standard, which can transmit new data streams from marginal nodes in remote and dangerous places in the application of industrial equipment and building facilities. Now, we can seamlessly access these data that could not be obtained through the Internet, and use them to evaluate various factors, such as asset health status, raw material usage, and process parameters to make the manufacturing process more clean and environmentally friendly.

     The newly launched ADI Chronous products allow customers to strengthen the control of various building parameters, thereby reducing the energy consumption and overall carbon emissions of the building. Adi Chronous Adin1100 and Adin1110 Industrial Ethernet solutions can transmit data by more than 1.7 kilometers or more than 1 mile through a single -rooted twisted Ethernet cable (compared to the previous Ethernet standard, the distance increases significantly), which helps to reduce Small size, weight and reduction cost. Compared with the traditional Ethernet cable, these cables have a lighter weight, better ductility, and supporting reusable use of existing wiring infrastructure, thereby reducing debugging costs and complexity.

     The new industrial Ethernet solution provides two flexible options: Mac Phy and PHY. Mac Phy (Adin1110) can achieve ultra -low power consumption systems, which can simplify the Ethernet transformation of the on -site sensor or drive, and retain existing software and processor technical investment. PHY (Adin1100) provides standard Ethernet interface, which can be used in more complex designs, such as on -site switch development or building controller.
