Advanced Energy has expanded its NeoPower (NP) line of ultra-high density configurable power supplies

     Advanced Energy has expanded its NeoPower™ (NP) family of ultra-dense configurable power supplies to provide new options that facilitate Ethernet connectivity, reduce electrical noise and save space. NeoPower is the best choice for advanced industrial, medical, test and measurement applications because it offers four times the power density of traditional solutions. Power conversion is optimized for specific applications, and thanks to the flexible and simple configuration, engineers can accelerate product development without the need for custom designs.

     The NeoPower family has been expanded with the introduction of the NP05, which delivers 2.4 kilowatts in a 2.5-inch form factor, which is the industry standard. The module comes with five different single-slot low-noise modules, as well as a PowerPro Ethernet adapter.

     Advanced Energy claims that the NeoPower family further advances the company's leadership in configurable and modular power supplies to meet demanding power conversion requirements. The new options allow customers to quickly configure designs to meet the needs of applications requiring higher power density, low ripple voltage, and improved power monitoring and control.

     The NP05 simplifies leakage current management, reduces noise, and saves space by supporting up to five different AC power rails. Single-slot low-noise modules are best suited for applications that require minimal common-mode and differential voltage interference. NeoPower power supplies are compatible with iot applications that require cloud-based monitoring and control because they include connectivity. The PowerPro Ethernet adapter is suitable for clients that require MODBUS TCP control and monitoring because it provides complementary connectivity options.
