Advanced Energy introduces a configurable power supply with higher performance

The company introduced a new Excelsys CoolX3000 modular configurable power platform. The 3000W power platform offers several advantages, such as industry-leading power density, unique flexibility, and digital communication and control capabilities, so it can work with other applications to meet the needs of the fourth generation Industry (Industry 4.0) market.

     CoolX3000 is suitable for medical diagnostic equipment, imaging and treatment equipment, life science research equipment, clinical chemical laboratory equipment and a variety of specialized industrial equipment. It is the latest model of Advanced Energy CoolX series configurable power supply. There are also CX600, CX1000 and CX1800 product lines in the same family.

     The CoolX3000's unique flexibility and scalability, coupled with up to 24 user-configurable, isolated outputs and individual output controls, streamline system integration for the world's major Oems. The CoolX3000 is the highest power output in the Advanced Energy CoolX family, and the new product also offers full control of output voltage and current, as well as output timing, through its digital and analog interfaces. In addition, the CoolX3000 has received product safety certification from the relevant agencies, guaranteeing normal operation in working environments up to 5,000 meters. For medical devices, this advantage is very important.
