Advanced Energy introduces a new high temperature measurement platform developed with innovative technology to support production monitoring systems

     Advanced Energy Industries has been developing a wide range of advanced high-precision power conversion, measurement and control systems and other solutions, and this area of technology has been a global leader. The company announced the launch of a new Series of high temperature measurement platforms called Impac Series 600, which can be used to measure the surface temperature of non-metals or metal coatings for industrial production equipment.

     The Impac Series 600 platform features a modular, field-configurable, multi-channel plug and play design and is Advanced Energy's newest high temperature measurement platform with multiple sensing heads that are directly connected to a central control center, ensuring that temperatures are measured at up to eight measurement points and are cost-effective. It also ensures that industrial heating equipment can optimize power control and system performance. The Impac Series 600 platform is easy to use and highly flexible to support many different applications in different target markets, including automotive, film coating, injection molding, PET production, packaging, and other applications. The advantage of the modular design is the flexibility to add or change temperature measurement points without having to return the entire system to the factory for re-calibration, minimizing downtime and reducing the total cost of ownership.
