Advanced Energy introduces new thyristor rectifier power controllers

     Advanced Energy is committed to developing a wide range of advanced high-precision power conversion, measurement and control systems and other solutions, and this area of technology has been the world's leading. The company announced the launch of a Thyro-A+ ThyRO-A SCR power controller. It is the latest model in the company's market-leading SCR power controller family, which features high-precision industrial and semiconductor heating equipment. Thyro-A+ is extremely accurate and equipped with load monitoring, which is the benefit of the new generation of SCR rectifier. In addition, this new product is not only the industry's smallest SCR solution, but also has new digital control functions, especially for high-precision heating, melting, drying and forming applications.

     Thyro-A+ uses a newly designed control engine with a measurement sampling rate 16 times higher than the existing Thyro-A, resulting in higher control accuracy, which helps to significantly improve process technology consistency and repeatability, while also reducing energy consumption and increasing process throughput for high-precision heating applications. Thyro-A+ is the industry's smallest SCR power controller, delivering industry-leading power density. In addition, the power controller comes with an optional LED display for easy debugging and visualization. Other advanced digital features include remote control and self-monitoring, and its digital control interface connects software and applications from other relevant vendors to ensure technical compliance with Industry 4.0.

     Thyro-a + is the latest in Advanced Energy's Thyro family of power controllers, which includes ThyRO-S, Thyro-A eco, ThyRO-A and ThyRO-PX. Thyro-A+ incorporates a new and powerful controller that delivers industry-leading accuracy, load monitoring and power control of heating elements, and heating applications for a wide range of resistive and transformer loads. The controller comes pre-loaded with a copy-and-paste configuration file that allows multiple SCR power controllers to easily exchange system parameters with each other, ensuring that the controller can be easily installed and replaced. By using the smallest SCR power controller, customers can save on system installation costs, and the controller also meets the technical requirements of multiple fieldbus protocols, so customers can complete the entire installation process in the fastest way, ensuring that the product can be easily integrated into existing heating equipment to support every important heating process.
