Advanced Energy introduces ultra-small programmable high voltage precision DC-DC converter

     Advanced Energy Industries has introduced a new line of ultra-small isolated single - and dual-output high voltage DC-DC converters. The series includes single-pole 100V to 600V models and bipolar +/-50V to +/-300V versions, with plans to introduce higher power and voltage levels in subsequent versions. Packaged in a 0.5 "x 0.5" x 0.5 "(cube) solid vacuum package, the converter shields from shock and vibration. All equipment is provided with UL/cUL and IEC-62368-1 safety certification.

     The UV AEQ series optimizes power conversion in a variety of life science, medical, industrial and semiconductor device applications. This family of devices provides 0.5W output power up to 600VDC from an input voltage of +5VDC, offering several advantages over other small size DC-DC converters.

     These include outputs proportional to the control of the pin voltage, providing complete programmability from zero to maximum rating. Output stability within 5% at maximum Vout and full load. The +/-1500VDC high I/O isolation rating supports precise output voltage control, meets the safety level required for handheld devices, and supports compliance for medical and life science applications.
