Advanced standalone active EMI filter IC for high density power supply design

     Texas Instruments announced the introduction of an industry-leading stand-alone active electromagnetic interference (EMI) filter integrated circuit (IC) that will help engineers implement smaller, lightweight EMI filters to enhance system functionality at a lower system cost while meeting EMI regulatory standards.

     As electrical systems become more dense and interconnected, EMI mitigation becomes a key system design consideration for engineers. Thanks to Kilby Labs' innovative development of new concepts and breakthrough ideas, The new standalone Active EMI Filter IC product family detects and eliminates common-mode EMI up to 30dB (frequency range 100kHz to 3MHz) in single-phase and three-phase AC power systems. This capability enables designers to reduce choke size by up to 50% compared to pure passive filter solutions and meet stringent EMI requirements.
