Allegro MicroSystems, Inc., a leading global provider of power and sensing solutions for motion control and energy efficient systems, announced the introduction of two new current sensors, the ACS37030MY and ACS37220MZ. With Allegro's cutting-edge sensing technology, these ics provide low internal conductor resistance, high operating bandwidth, and reliable performance for a variety of automotive, industrial, and consumer applications.

Allegro's new current sensor IC is designed for precise current sensing in a compact and durable package. The ACS37030MY and ACS37220MZ feature a wide-body design that is 40% smaller and more isolated than existing 16-pin packages on the market. The new, innovative design also reduces electrical resistance, helping to reduce power consumption.
The ACS37030MY is a fully integrated current sensor IC with fast response time to protect wideband gap GaN devices. It combines the Hall effect and the induction coil signal path to sense current over a wide frequency range. This innovative packaged product is not only five times faster than existing solutions, but also 40% smaller. The ACS37030 is also available in a narrow-body package for applications with lower isolation requirements.
The ACS37220MZ is a fully integrated Hall-effect current sensor with 150 kHz bandwidth and fault pins. The device is designed for economical current sensing applications and is a successor to the popular ACS724/5 family of products. The ACS37220MZ's new package solution is 40% smaller, with lower resistance and lower power consumption.
