Amphenol RF offers flexible and PCB patch antennas

     Amphenol RF adds flexibility and PCB patch antennas to its robust RF solution portfolio. These antennas can be used inside connected devices and provide flexible pads or rigid PCBS that can be installed inside the device. Flexible and PCB patch antennas are usually terminated with wireless modules, providing AMC or other industry standard subminiature connectors.

     These internal antennas are often used in wireless applications such as Wi-Fi-enabled Internet of Things technology and portable entertainment devices. Flexible and PCB patch antennas are available in dual-frequency, multi-frequency and broadband configurations with support for the Wi-Fi 6e option and a reliable frequency range of up to 7.2GHz. These 50 ohm antennas offer a relatively low-profile dipole design, can be installed in various locations and support standard cellular protocols, making them ideal for Internet of Things, Wi-Fi and LTE technologies.

     These antennas use a center-fed microcoaxial cable connected to a subminiature AMC connector. The extremely thin antenna provides adhesive tape on one side for secure placement inside the device. These flexible and PCB patch antennas join the company's existing external antennas to provide a complete solution via antenna from the board or device. These antennas are compatible with many standard RF interfaces and are ideal for applications that require wireless signals, such as drones, navigation systems, payment terminals, smart lawn mowers and headphones.
