Amphenol Wilcoxon REF2500 Handheld Vibrator Kit

     Amphenol Wilcoxon's ReferenceMate portable vibration reference source is a hand-held vibrator. It can quickly and easily check the work and settings of the accelerometer and speed sensor in the field, provide confidence for the entire measurement chain, and verify the performance of the sensor and the integrity of the cable connection between the sensor and the data acquisition system. Regardless of the weight of the sensor (250 grams maximum), it can provide consistent 1 g acceleration with user selectable frequency setpoints (61.4 Hz, 100.0 Hz and 159.2 Hz), so there is no need to convert between English and metric units of acceleration, speed and displacement.

     Users can select 61.4 Hz frequency for imperial measurement, 1 g (acceleration) is equivalent to 1 in/s (speed), 100 Hz is used to simulate standard calibration conditions, or 159.2 Hz is used for metric measurement, 9.81 m/sec2 (acceleration) is equivalent to 9.81 mm/s (speed). The ReferenceMate hand-held vibrator is equipped with a sturdy protective sleeve to prevent impact and fall, as well as an AA battery, a suitcase, 1/4 to 28 studs, a D-clip shackle, and a wrench.
