The ams OSRAM AS7050 is a biological signal sensor analog front-end, which can provide up to eight LED driver outputs, sample up to six photodiode inputs, and support external electrodes. As a result, it has excellent flexibility and can realize multiple LED and photodiode layouts in different applications. This analog front-end is equipped with two analog to digital converter (ADC) channels for simultaneous measurement of PPG and ECG and automatic photodiode offset control. The operating voltage range of the AS7050 sensor is 1.7V to 1.98V, and it passes the I ² C bus provides 1MHz fast mode+, 400kHz fast mode and 100kHz standard mode to achieve excellent efficiency.
