An evaluation board for working in forced continuous mode

Analog Devices EVAL-LTC3313EV-A-Z Evaluation board is designed to operate in forced continuous mode with a switching frequency of 2MHz. The evaluation board features an LTC3313 synchronous step-down silent switcher with a function of 1.2V and a 15A output step-down regulator. The EVAL-LTC3313EV-A-Z plate can also operate at different switching frequencies or pulse skip modes.

The LTC3313 oscillator can also be synchronized with an external clock using the MODE/SYNC turret with the EVAL-LTC3313EV-A-Z default setting. The evaluation panel reduces conducted EMI by applying an EMI filter that the input voltage can include to the VIN EMI terminal. The LTC3313 is a monolithic, constant-frequency, current-mode step-down DC-DC converter.

The DC-DC converter supports output voltage (VOUT) from 0.5V to input voltage (VIN) and operates at frequencies from 500kHz to 5MHz. Silent Switcher technology on DC-DC converters optimizes fast current loops, making it easier to minimize EMI and EMC emissions.
