An integrated adhesive layer that protects against electromagnetic interference

     Wurth Elektronik introduces its hybrid WE-EMIP EMI absorber sheet, a user-friendly solution for the prevention of electromagnetic interference. The patch is effortless to adhere to due to the integral adhesive layer. It provides attenuation that exceeds 40 dB across a broad frequency spectrum. Versions that are both isolated and non-isolated are accessible. The option of earthing is available in the non-isolated version.

     The hybrid absorber sheet, which combines EMI absorber material with an aluminum layer, is currently offered in three sizes: 105 × 74 mm; 297 × 210 mm; and 15 m x 50 mm in roll form. Wurth Elektronik provides a product that effectively limits electromagnetic interference (EMC) issues related to radiated emission, therefore safeguarding delicate components. The patch provides attenuation strengths that are up to 12 times greater than those of previously available absorber sheets, enabling the attainment of attenuation values that would otherwise be only achievable with shielding cabinets.
