An isolation amplifier that separates the output from the input circuit by an isolation barrier

     Texas Instruments AMC1400-Q1 Precision isolation amplifier is an isolation amplifier in which output and input circuits are separated by isolation barriers. The isolation barrier is highly resistant to magnetic interference. According to DIN EN IEC 60747-17 (VDE 0884-17) and UL1577, the barrier provides enhanced electrical isolation up to 7.5kVRMS. Support working voltage up to 2kVRMS. Isolation barriers separate parts of the system that operate at different common-mode voltage levels and protect the lower side from voltage levels that can cause electrical damage and potentially injury to operators.

     The TI AMC1400-Q1 input is optimized for direct connection to a low impedance shunt resistor or other low impedance voltage source with low signal levels. Low temperature drift and excellent DC accuracy support accurate current control in power factor correction (PFC) stages, traction inverters, DC/DC converters, and other applications that must operate at high common-mode voltages, high altitudes, or high pollution levels. The AMC1400-Q1 comes in a stretched 8-pin SOIC package. The device meets the requirements of AEC-Q100 automotive applications and supports temperature ranges from -40°C to +125°C.
