Analog Devices ADRF5141 High power transceiver switch ic

     Analog Devices ADRF5141 High power transmit and receive switch ic is a 50 ohm reflecting SPDT switch ic manufactured by silicon process. These switching ics are used for transmit and receive applications and incorporate power limiter on the receive path. The ADRF5141 switch ic operates in the frequency range of 6GHz to 12GHz. These high-power switch ics consume low current of 13μA on a positive 3.3V supply and 360μA on a negative -3.3V supply.

     The ADRF5141 switch ic uses complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS)/low voltage transistor to transistor logic (LVTTL) compatible control. These switching ics do not require an additional driver circuit, making them a viable alternative to gallium nitride (GaN) and Pin-based switches.

     The ADRF5141 switch ic has a fast switching time of 50ns and a fast response and recovery time of less than 10ns. These switch ics come in 20-pin, 3.0mm x 3.0mm, Land Grid Array (LGA) packages. The ADRF5141 high power switch ic complies with the RoHS standard and operates in the temperature range of -40°C to 105°C. Typical applications include electronic warfare, satellite communications, and radar.
