Analog Devices Inc. Trianamic TMC5240 Evaluation Kit

Analog Devices Trianamic TMC5240-Eval-Kit consists of one MCU board, Landungsbruecke, one Eselsbruecke, and one TMC5240-EVAL drive board. The TMC5240 is an intelligent high performance stepper motor controller and driver IC with serial communication interface (SPI, UART) and various diagnostic functions capable of driving two-phase bipolar stepper motors up to 2.0A RMS (3.0A peak).

It allows easy and fast startup in just a few minutes to get the user's motor running. Full access to all registers, functions, and diagnostic functions simultaneously. For diagnosis, all signals between the MCU and TMC5240 can be accessed via probes on the bridged circuit board. The TMC5240-EVAL can be used with a Landungsbruecke MCU board or on its own.

Users need only a power supply and Trinamic's free, easy-to-use McL-ide to get started. The graphical user interface (GUI) enables quick setup and enables the use of commands in direct mode to monitor visualized real-time behavior in graphics and record and store data. All Settings can be exported to the user's firmware project.
