Analog Devices LTM4660 hybrid step-down μModule bus converter

     Analog Devices' LTM4660 Hybrid step-down μModule Bus Converter is a complete 300W output switching mode hybrid topology step-down DC/DC μModule non-isolated bus converter solution. Use 16mm x 16mm x 10.34mm BGA package to provide RoHS compliant terminal surface.

     The LTM4660's exposed power sensor is located at the top of the package. The inductor provides a cooling path for the module -- and far away from the printed circuit board. LTM4660 converter integrates switch controller IC, power MOSFET, and support components. Only fly span (charge pump) capacitors, large capacity input and output bypass capacitors, and a few configuration passive devices.

     The ADI LTM4660 hybrid step-down μModule bus converter provides frequency synchronization, Burst Mode® operation, and output voltage soft start and tracking. In addition, an onboard temperature diode is included for temperature monitoring. Has the protection function to prevent short circuit, over current and over temperature fault. For higher power applications, multiple LTM4660 modules can be easily used in parallel.
