ADI's ADXL1001 and ADXL1002 provide ultra-low noise density over an extended frequency range, with two full-scale range options, and are optimized for industrial condition monitoring.      The ADXL1001 and ADXL1002 feature integrated full electrostatic self-test (ST) functions and over-range (OR) indicators with advanced system-level features for embedded applications. The ADXL1001 and ADXL1002 have low power consumption and are powered by a single power supply ranging from 3.3V to 5.25V. They also support wireless detection product design. The ADXL1001 and ADXL1002 are packaged in a 5 mm x 5 mm x 1.80 mm LFCSP package and are rated for operating temperatures ranging from -40°C to +125°C.

 

     The EVAL-ADXL1001Z and EVAL-ADXL1002Z are simple evaluation panels that users can use to quickly evaluate the performance of the ADXL1001 and ADXL1002 vibration sensors. The EVAL-ADXL1001Z and EVAL-ADXL1002Z are specifically designed to be mounted on mechanical shake tables and are bonded by 0.8 square inch ultra-thick printed circuit boards (PCBS). Screw holes are available for rigid mounting onto the shaking table. The design allows users to evaluate the full performance range of the ADXL1001 or ADXL1002 vibration sensor without having to solder the device to a separate test plate. A simple RC low-pass filter with a -3 dB bandwidth of about 20 kHz is provided at the output. Components can be replaced to allow users to implement their own application-specific low-pass filters on the device output.
