Analog Devices μ module isolators for test, measurement, and isolation requirements

     Analog Devices The LTM2886 and LTM2887 are complete current digital μ module isolators. No external components are required. A 3.3V or 5V power supply feeds both sides of the interface through an integrated, isolated DC/DC converter. Logic power pins allow easy connection of different logic levels from 1.62V to 5.5V, independent of the main power supply. The options available conform to SPI and I(2)C specifications.

     The isolation side includes fixed ±5 V and 5 V adjustable power supplies, each capable of delivering a load current greater than 100 mA. The 5 volt adjustable power supply can be programmed with an external voltage divider.

     Coupling inductors and isolation power transformers provide 2500 VRMS isolation between input and output logic interfaces. These isolators are available in 32 bbga packages with temperature options ranging from 0°C to +70°C, -40°C to +85°C, and -40°C to +125°C. The LTM2886 and LTM2887 are designed for use in test, measurement, and isolation applications.
