     Apex Tool Group Weller WXsmart solder heads are designed for use in WXsmart welding systems. The welding heads are in full compliance with the IPC industry standard (IPC-TM-650 2.5.33 Electrical Stress Measurement for Manual Soldering Tools). These high performance tips provide fast, safe, easy tip exchange and clearly identified smart tips.

     Other features include accurate data results with tip offset, complete process control with tip locking, and full traceability and integrated data storage with ID numbers. Apex Tool Group Weller WXsmart soldering tips offer fast heating times of 3 seconds for the RTPS series, 5 seconds for the RTMS, and 7 seconds for the RTUS.

     The RTPS tip is designed for miniature applications that require microscopic component work in sizes 0402 to 01005 (XS to S). The RTMS tip is suitable for micro and standard welding applications with component sizes 0504 to 1608 (M to L), and the RTUS tip is suitable for heavy load applications with components of 1612 and larger sizes (XL to XXL).
