Applied Power introduces 1500W AC/DC switching power supplies for medical and industrial applications

Applied Power introduces a new 1500W AC/DC switching power supply with output voltage up to 200V for medical and industrial applications. The PFS1500 series has the medical certification (IEC/UL/EN60601-1) required for medical devices as well as the IEC62368-1 certification required for industrial applications. EMC performance is excellent and meets industrial and medical conduction and radiation Class B levels.

With a small size and high density and a volume of only 127mmx203mmx40mm, the product has a maximum output power of 1500W (natural ventilation), a wide range of AC input (85V-264Vac), a conversion efficiency of up to 95%, a single output voltage of 12V-200VDC, and an operating temperature range of -20°C to 70°C. Full load output temperature to 50°C (12V model full load to 40°C), then linear attenuation to 70°C output 750W, working altitude of 5,000 meters.
