Artesyn Embedded Technologies AC/DC power adapter combines high efficiency and fast charging in a small package with USB-PD(Power Transfer) Type 3.0 c output connector. The DA45C has four output voltage levels, 5 V, 9 V, 15 V and 20 V, with output currents up to 5 A. This enables a power output of up to 45 watts and can be used to charge laptops, tablets, smartphones and other USB-PD-compatible consumer electronics.

Original Equipment Manufacturers (Oems) can use these wall-mounted adapters to meet the US Department of Energy's Energy Grade VI and the European Code of Conduct (CoC) V5's Tier 2 instruction efficiency standards. These standards are designed to reduce energy waste from external power sources when unloaded and in normal operation.

The Artesyn DA45C series has a standby power of less than 75 mW at 5 V(DC) and an average load efficiency of over 88% at 20 V(DC). These adapters feature enhanced insulation of 3000 V(AC (RMS)) and additional safety features such as protection against overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuits and overheating conditions. Packaged in a compact 58mm x 40.2mm x 27mm package (without pins), the external power supply is available with American, European, or Chinese receptacle style pins.
