Four product lines to promote automotive lighting innovation
Ams OSRAM's four PL product lines of Boost HM, OSLON Compact PM/PL, OSLON Black Flat and OSLON Submount in automotive lighting systems are designed to meet the lighting requirements of applications that require high performance and reliability.
OSLON Boost For applications with high surface brightness and high current intensity, HM uses a thin HL design that is scalable within ADB or standard HB ranges. OSLON Compact PM/PL Compact package layout for matrix beam ADB systems and DRL optical guidance; OSLON Black replaces standard LB/HB functions with halogen lamps, making the Flat ideal for cost-effective and high-performance applications.
OSLON Submount is particularly suitable for formalized module designs, with PL's special construction offering extreme thermal performance.
Innovative technology to break through the design boundaries of signal lights
Ams OSram offers a wide range of products for signal light applications, including a range of LED products that comply with different standards such as RCL, DRL and TI, SYNIOS P1515 with excellent uniformity, SYNIOS P2720 with ultra-thin and 3D effect design, OSLON Compact PL, It is specially used for body lighting (logo)/Gershon) custom SYNIOS series. These products not only demonstrate the company's relentless pursuit of technological innovation and product quality, but also enrich the options in the signal lamp market, helping to achieve high-performance, cost-effective solutions.
In order to let you know more about AMS OSRAM products, Director Jin Yuqing shared two solutions in his speech: automotive taillighting based on SYNIOS and interior lighting system based on OSIRE P1515 low-cost solution 3731i RGB LED interior atmosphere light solution.
He noted that AMS Osram released SYNIOS to meet the lightweight, compact and OLED technology required for next-generation automotive taillight design, as well as its low-cost, information-interactive and design-sensitive P1515 vehicle signal light LED with a unique side lighting method, achieving higher special effects and more uniform light source distribution. It is beneficial for automobile manufacturers to reduce material costs and improve design flexibility. In the case of LED drive current of 50mA, the P1515 solution can achieve the brightness of 1500nits on the surface, and the center light intensity can reach 40cd.
In addition, AMS Osram also released OSIREE to create cool colors and dynamic special effects scenes for interior lighting. This series of leds is designed to meet the requirements of color ambient lighting in automotive applications. It provides an LED chip that can find the address individually. It has great flexibility in the selection and interconnection of color points and controllers for interior ambient lighting. The OSIRE portfolio covers all RGB applications, offering different levels of calibration support and package design.
Among them, OSIRE as the only built-in driver smart LED in the OSIRE family, the E3731i has an open system protocol for serial bus communication (OSP), which can control the system in a Daisy chain. With OSP, the microprocessor can be transferred to each OSIRE. E3731i push commands and get conditions for high-performance hue correction and temperature compensation. Based on OSIRE through the E3731i and OSP protocols, automakers can create unique dynamic lighting effects in their cars. Each control chain can be connected to up to 1000 LED lights and can be operated with only a microprocessor.
