Bosch BHI260AP self-learning AI intelligent sensor

     BHI260AP is the world's first self-learning artificial intelligence sensor for wearable and earwear devices. It integrates six axis inertial measurement unit (IMU), 32-bit user programmable microcontroller and software functions into a system level package (SiP) solution.

     Bosch BHI260AP self-learning AI intelligent sensor provides embedded edge artificial intelligence using self-learning AI software, including fitness tracking, navigation (pedestrian positioning), machine learning analysis, and relative and absolute direction estimation. The sensor integrated on the BHI260AP is a six degree of freedom (6DoF) IMU, which contains a 16 bit three-axis accelerometer and a 16 bit three-axis gyroscope. Host interface can be configured as SPI or I ² C. There are two main interfaces (one optional SPI/I ² C and an I ² C) , and up to 12 GPIOs.

     BHI260AP's unique self-learning and personalized functions enable users to easily train equipment through customized fitness activities. The sensor contains more than 15 pre learned fitness activities, so no training is required before use. In addition to its own activities, the device also provides learning, personalization, automatic tracking and enhanced user experience. Users can enhance or add new fitness activities without modifying the software or the original data set. Since AI runs on the sensor itself, there is no need to connect to the cloud or smart phone. This innovative edge AI capability helps reduce latency, significantly reduce power consumption, and protect end-user privacy.
