Bourns Introduces New Small Size 1210 Automotive Grade Common Mode Chip Inductors

     Bourns, a world-renowned leading manufacturer of electronic components, announced a new series of small 12-by-10-inch automotive-grade common mode chip inductors. Bourns' newest line of common mode inductors feature a ferrite core design in a dual-wound configuration to provide a compact size and shielding construction. The SRF3225AB and SRF3225TAC-type common-mode chip inductor families provide low emissions and high impedance over a very wide frequency range to suppress electromagnetic interference (EMI) entering or leaving the system, making them ideal for use in consumer, industrial, and other Excellent solution for design and testing in the field of application.

     What's new in Bourns' new product: The inductor core has a 0.2 to 0.3 mm high sidewall on each end, designed to help enhance the mechanical strength of the component after it is assembled on the board. Both model series are AEC-Q200 qualified and offer significantly improved reliability and durability. The Model SRF3225AB is specifically designed for noise suppression in 2-wire UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cable car audio bus systems. Product designers will find that in standard CAN Bus interface and higher transmission rate CAN-FD II applications, the SRF3225TAC series is very effective in suppressing common mode noise.
