Bourns introduces four new series of environmental pressure sensors

     Bourns has announced the addition of four new models to the Bourns Precision Sensor (BPS) family. Based on the latest microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) technology, the four new BPS310, BPS320, BPS330 and BPS340 families deliver fast response, high resolution and long-term stability, making them the perfect solution for cost-effective pressure sensors. These BPS sensors measure pressure in the 5 to 500 psi range, making them ideal for packaging needs and applications ranging from industrial systems to low - to medium-risk medical devices.

     The Bourns BPS310 model family is designed to provide high sensitivity/accuracy for ultra-low pressure. For gauge and pressure measurements, the BPS320 model family offers a rugged configuration for surface-mount packages. The BPS320 model family is a through-hole pressure sensor with an aluminum hole for low-pressure applications with operating temperatures up to 125°C. The BPS340 model family has the ability to handle some harsh media in a surface-mount package that can withstand pressures of up to 500 psi.
