Bourns introduces the double choke filter inductor family with AEC-Q200 compatible current compensation capability

     Bourns introduces the DR334A line filter series. These current compensated double choke filter inductors have higher current capability than typical standard signal line common mode chokes, as well as high stray inductance and differential mode noise suppression. These features make the DR334A series the ideal line filter solution for consumer, industrial and other markets for power line applications or applications where signal lines transmit power.

     The new DR334A series has a dual winding configuration for high common-mode impedance and a sector winding configuration for high differential mode impedance at high frequencies. The DR334A line filter has a compact, thin (3.6 mm high) size and a wide inductance class from 11 µH to 4700 µH, allowing designers to set the filter curve best suited to their application.

     The DR334A series is compliant with AEC-Q200 and has an operating temperature range of -40 to +135°C and a rated voltage of up to 80 VDC. In addition, the closed and ferrite toroidal core construction of Bourns' latest line filter series provides a more efficient and robust mechanical design.
