Bourns introduces the AD and SD series of Miniature Thermal Protectors (TCO) miniature circuit breaker devices. The range has been audited to specification level and complies with AEC-Q200 equivalents ^ In addition to the IATF 16949 certification and VDA 6.3 process audit requirements for the Bourns mini circuit breaker manufacturing plant. As a surface adhesive, ultra-small overtemperature protection device, Bourns car gauge miniature circuit breakers provide automotive application developers and users with a high standard of temperature monitoring safety and warranty confidence.
Bourns' new line of mini circuit breakers offers several industry-leading features to provide automotive designers with recirculable, accurate and reliable overtemperature protection in a wide range of heater circuit applications. They are available in a variety of mounting options - SD series in a surface mount package and AD series in an axial lead/weldable package. In addition, both series offer non-automatic reset (self-holding) or automatic reset (non-self-holding) function options with a wide trigger temperature range from 55 °C to 150 °C to meet the requirements of a variety of application scenarios.
