Bourns, a leading manufacturer of electronic components in the world, has launched the first two POWrFuse electric fuse products. Bourns all new industrial fuses are highly rated and designed to meet UL 248 and IEC 60269 standards.

Bourns launched the first two POWrFuse power fuse product lines. Bourns new industrial fuses have high power ratings and are designed to meet UL 248 and IEC 60269 standards. The performance of POWrFuse series helps to protect solar photovoltaic power generation systems known to operate under extreme ambient temperature, high cycle and low overload fault current conditions, and is also an excellent solution for various industrial, power supply and battery management system (BMS) applications.

Specifically, POWrFuse PF-E series is designed to meet UL 248-19 (gPV class) photovoltaic fuse standard, providing 1000VDC voltage, 15 to 30 A rated power and up to 20 kA breaking current. The POWrFuse PF-H (gPV) series is designed to meet UL 248-19 and IEC 60269-6 (gPV class) photovoltaic fuse standards, providing 600VDC/VAC voltage, 15 to 30 A rated power and up to 150 kA breaking current. Both power fuse series can provide quick action protection, low resistance and power loss under fault current, and the operating temperature range is – 55 to+125 ° C. Both series offer screw fixing and plug-in welding installation options.
