C&K expands its line of tamper proof seal switches for ATMs, ticket machines and security systems

     C&K, a leading manufacturer of high-quality electromechanical switches, has announced the launch of the ATP16 series of destruction-proof seal push switches. Aimed at designers of equipment used in public places or remote areas where there is often a high risk of theft or intentional damage, the vandal-proof switch is ideal for applications such as access control, keystroke intercom equipment, service station equipment and ticket or vending machines.

     The new ATP16 is designed to resist vandalism, reducing the need for expensive field repairs and product recalls. The new product is the latest addition to the destruction-resistant switch portfolio and uses the same materials as the ATP19 and ATP22 series introduced earlier this year. The lightweight and high-strength steel casing and housing materials of the ATP19 and ATP22 provide impact protection up to IK10.

     In addition to the destruction-proof function, the new switch also has various other destruction-proof switch characteristics, including lower weight, IP67 protection and corrosion resistance. Considering that the equipment equipped with this switch is usually installed outdoors, it can also withstand a variety of extreme environmental conditions.

     The ATP16 is available in both instant and lock-in versions, offering customers versatility with an LED lighting indicator in a variety of color options, as well as a selection of starters with a ring or power sign. As a complement to other switches in the ATP series, the ATP16 is rated at 2A/36 VDC and has a full load life of up to 200,000 cycles.
