C&K introduces the ultra low operating tone version of the soft feedback touch switch series

     C&K, a leading manufacturer of high-reliability electromechanical switches, has introduced a family of ultra-low operating tone, ultra-long travel and soft feedback touch switches, greatly expanding its touch switch product lineup. With ultra-soft feedback, the light touch of the TLS series switch gives you an advanced tactile communication experience to meet your customized automotive interior needs.

     The compact switch with J-leads gives engineers the flexibility to reduce the size of the printed circuit board or add functionality to the design. The IP54 sealed switch prevents dust, liquids and moisture from entering. With a lifetime of 500,000 operations, the TLS series ensures high reliability and long service life.

     There are two versions of the TLS series switches. The STD model switch has a stroke of 0.9 mm and a starting force of 4, 7 or 10N, providing 50% touch. The low-touch version switch has 30% touch, while other features remain the same. By compensating for tolerances of other components in the application, pre-stroke makes integration simple and easy.

     The TLS series is typically designed for use in automotive center consoles, dashboards, steering wheels, shift paddles, window glass lifters, seat adjusters, and other in-cabin applications. The TLS series operates from -40 ° C to 90 ° C, with a power value of 10μVA (min) /0.8 VA (Max), a voltage of DC 1V (min) /16 V (Max), and a rated current of 10μA (min) /50mA (Max).
