C&K introduces ultra-small microswitches with high precision, durability and low cost

     C&K, a leading manufacturer of high-quality electromechanical switches, has announced the launch of the compact LCW series of ultra-small sealed microswitches. With a maximum contact current rating of 0.1amp, the first new product features highly repeatable actuation and is ideal for extremely precise inspection applications, such as temperature and pressure switching in electric equipment, constant temperature control of sewage pumps and air conditioning.

     Available in a wide range of starter configurations (pin plunger, short rod, cross bar and analog rod), this microswitch is adaptable. When used on PCB, its compact design and rich terminal configuration make more efficient use of available PCB space.

     One of the main advantages of microswitches is the ability to detect any intentional damage. For example, if someone forcibly damages an electricity meter, the button mechanism will automatically send a signal to detect this attack - a feature more commonly used for metering in remote or hard-to-reach locations. Microswitches installed in smart meters may not be activated for years and should still operate reliably if the meter is damaged.

     The switch is UL 61058-1 certified, RoHS compliant and IP67 protected, ideal for harsh operating temperatures ranging from -40 ° C to +120 ° C. In addition, the price LCW series microswitches have high reliability. With an electrical life of up to 10,000 cycles, it is particularly suitable for applications that require a high service life.
