CUI's new 400 W Ac-Dc power supply series is available in four compact rack mounting cases

     CUI Inc releases a series of compact 400 W ac-dc power supply products for its power portfolio. The PCM-400 series is available in four types of rack mounting boxes, including a compact U-shaped box measuring 6 x 4 x 1.5 inches (152.4 x 101.6 x 38.1 mm) and a closed model with a top or rear fan option. With a wide range of available voltages and multiple protection features, as well as peak power capabilities up to 700 W in the 500 µs duty cycle range, the PCM-400 product family is ideal for a wide range of information technology equipment (ITE), telecommunications and industrial applications.

     The PCM-400 power supply series meets the EN60950-1 standard, carryUL/cUL and TUV safety certification requirements, offers EN55022 class B EMI compatibility, and has 3000Vac input-to-output isolation and 1500Vac output to ground isolation.

     The product family has a universal 90 to 264 Vac input range for global operation and is available in eight single output modes in the 12 to 54 Vdc range, as well as dual output versions. These power supplies achieve full load ratings at ambient temperatures from 0° to 50°C and decrease to 50% load at 70 °C. Other features include active PFC, remote on/off control and protection against overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuit and overheating.
