Cree LED's XE-G LED is small and ideal for a variety of applications

     The Cree LED XLamp Element G (XE-G) LED is a breakthrough solution for mixed-color lighting applications that meet the need for high level light output and complete control over spectral content. Available in 17 different colors as well as a complete combination of white options, XE-G leds provide lighting manufacturers with unprecedented flexibility to change and optimize the light output characteristics of their products. The XE-G's 2.05mm x 1.6mm package includes a combination of LED features, including a large heat pad, ESD protection, and minimum spacing between the LED chip and the edge of the package.

     The XE-G platform is color-consistent across all key LED design parameters, including package size, PCB base surface, anode/cathode orientation, light source size, light source position, and ESD protection. This consistency makes it easy to reuse core design elements, such as PCBS and optics, in a wide range of designs.
