Crocus Technology's new TMR Angle sensor addresses consumer, industrial, medical and automotive markets

     Crocus Technology has introduced a new breakthrough TMR Angle (2D) magnetic sensor, the CT300, to meet a wide range of market needs with extremely low Angle error and high stability over a wide range of temperatures and voltuses.

     Designed using Crocus' revolutionary Magnetic Logic Unit (MLU™) technology, the CT300 consists of two full-bridge magnetoresistive networks capable of two-dimensional sensing. In the presence of a rotating magnetic field, the CT300 senses the magnetic field and produces two sets of differential signals representing sine (SIN) and cosine (COS) waveforms. The differential signal of the CT300 is processed and compensated, and the resulting Angle error will be equal to or less than 0.5° in the temperature range of -40 ° C to +150 ° C. A single CT300 can measure the absolute Angle generated by 360° rotation and can sense magnetic fields from 20 mT to 80 mT.
