DeepRoute unveils Sensor Solution to accelerate deployment of sensors for autonomous vehicles

L4 autonomous driving solutions provider DeepRoute has released DeeProute-Sense, a sensing solution designed to enable the autonomous vehicle industry to deploy sensors faster, further driving and facilitating the development of the entire industry.

     L4 autonomous driving solutions provider DeepRoute has released DeeProute-Sense, a sensing solution designed to enable the autonomous vehicle industry to deploy sensors faster, further driving and facilitating the development of the entire industry.

 

     The solution includes a sleek, lightweight roof box and advanced sensor fusion calibration services. The roof box consists of eight on-board cameras, three liDAR, GNSS, and a range of other sensors to help communicate and synchronize data between controllers. The roof box's mechanics were independently designed by DeepRoute, with excellent steering, cooling and sealing features. Compared to other products currently on the market, the roof box is lighter, smaller and more impact-resistant. The top box is equipped with four tripods that can be easily mounted on the roof of different car models for the deployment of sensors.

 

     The solution uses DeepRoute's self-developed in-vehicle camera with anti-glare, anti-ghosting and reliable signal detection. The camera has a lower cost and higher dynamic range compared to other cameras in the industry. The top box is adapted to different extreme weather conditions, whether in strong sunlight or in the glare of the night, it can handle exposure stably and avoid overexposure.

 

     The roof box is also equipped with the ADS Synchronous Controller, a sensor data processing device that can pre-process and fuse massive amounts of data from cameras, liDAR, GNSS and other sensors through high-precision spatiotemporal synchronization. In addition, ADS Synchronous Controller also supports DNN and SLAM hardware acceleration, which greatly improves computing efficiency.
