Diode integrated AP25810LQ USB Type-C DFP controller and power switch

     The diodes company AP25810LQ USB Type-C DFP controller and power switch are designed to monitor the USB Type-C Configuration Channel (CC) wire to determine if the USB device is connected. It comes in a standard green W-QFN3040-20 (Type A1) package with a PAD exposed for improved thermal performance, rohs compliant.

     When connected to UFP devices, the AP25810LQ supplies power to the V(BUS). It communicates the optional VBUS current source function to the UFP via a straight-through CC line. The AP25810LQ also applies a V(CONN) power supply to the cable CC pin if the UFP is connected using an electronically labeled cable. Additional system power savings can be achieved in the S4 and S5 system power state by disabling the high power 5V power supply without a UFP connection using the UFP output. In this mode, the device is able to run from an auxiliary power supply (AUX), which can be a lower voltage power supply (3.3V), usually powering the system at μC in the low power state (S4 and S5).
