Diodes' 32 channel PCIe 3.0 packet switcher supports fan out and multi host connection functions

     Diodes announced the introduction of PCIe 3.0 packet switcher IC. PI7C9X3G1632GP provides flexible multi port and channel width combination to improve performance and availability. This design helps the system to handle AI/deep learning workloads, data storage devices, data center servers, wireless/wired telecommunications infrastructure, and various modern embedded hardware.the PI7C9X3G1632GP packet switch is packaged with 676 pin FCBGA, and the size is 27mm x 27mm.

     The infrastructure of PI7C9X3G1632GP consists of two bricks, each with 8 ports and 16 channels. It can support 32 channels of SERDES. The configuration options range from 2 ports to 16 ports. To meet various potential product applications, such as port fan out and multiple host connections, different port types can be configured, including uplink port, downlink port and cross domain endpoint (CDEP) port.

     PI7C9X3G1632GP is embedded with multiple DMA channels to improve the data communication efficiency between hosts/hosts and connection endpoints.
