     Diodes Incorporated AL1698K efficient dimmable LED driver is a high efficiency, high performance, high power factor, high current precision boost, step-down boost and flyback dimmable LED driver designed for three terminal bidirectional silicon controlled dimmable LED lamp applications. The AL1698K provides accurate output current over the entire line and load regulation range. Boost topology makes the efficiency of devices exceed 90%, meeting the efficiency requirements of lighting regulations. Wide switching frequency in boundary conduction mode (BCM), which is conducive to EMI/EMC design and testing

     Diodes Inc AL1698K efficient dimmable LED driver has a built-in high-voltage JFET, which can provide a quick start for the system and a simple and stable VCC power supply design for users. The AL1698K LED driver integrates 600V/2A high-voltage MOSFET. It can be used for 120VAC and 230VAC three terminal bidirectional silicon controlled dimmable applications without external high-voltage MOSFET, thus reducing the system BOM cost.

     The AL1698K has a built-in hot turn back protection trigger point, which can automatically reduce the output current. Other protection functions improve the safety and reliability of LED lighting system. Dimming curve conforms to NEMA SSL6 standard. The AL1698K is suitable for various dimmers, such as front and rear edge dimmers, and can achieve depth dimming to 1%. The drive is SO-7 packaged.
