Diodes Incorporated AP33510 quasi resonant flyback GAN controller

     Diodes Incorporated AP33510 Quasi-resonant Flyback GAN controllers are specifically designed for off-line flyback power supplies that require low standby power consumption, high power density, and full protection. The device operates in QR mode at full load to support switching events at drain-source valley values, minimizing switching losses. The internal limit switch frequency of the AP33510 is 150kHz (maximum).

     The device ensures stable valley switching and prevents transformer audible noise due to frequency hopping through an in-house proprietary valley locking technology.

     Diodes AP33510 quasi-resonant flyback GAN controller can increase power conversion efficiency by reducing the total load when entering PFM mode with frequency reentry. At no-load or light load, the AP33510 will go into burst mode to minimize power consumption and set the minimum switching frequency (about 25kHz) to avoid any audible noise. Piecewise linear line compensation ensures a constant output power limit across the entire line voltage range.

     The AP33510 has comprehensive protection features such as power on/power off detection, cycle current limitation, output OVP/UVP, overload protection and overheating protection to ensure the durability of the converter.
