Diodes Incorporated PI2DPT821 timer

     Diodes Incorporated PI2DPT821 Reweight timer is a data bit reweight timer with receiver adaptive CTLE and transmitter 2 tap equalized. The timer compensates for channel losses of up to -18dB (4.05GHz signal transmission). PI2DPT821 supports DP1.4 and USB3.2 Gen1 standards running in USB Type-C DP ALT mode.

     The operational configuration can be programmed via the I2C interface to select 4-channel DP, 2-channel DP/ 1-channel USB 3.2 Gen1, 1 or 2-channel USB 3.2 Gen1. The data bit retimer uses a standard 1.8V Vdd power supply for excellent energy saving management. For active mode (U0) and power saving mode (U1, U2, U3), PI2DPT821 conforms to the USB link power management status.

     The PI2DPT821 timer has a signal input to output (< 1ns) with extremely low latency to ensure interoperability between various USB and DP devices. The level retimer does not contain lead, fully complies with RoHS instruction, and is packaged with X1QFN (XEA 32). Typical applications include tablets, smartphones, laptops, desktops and all-in-one computers.
