Diodes ZXGD3113 is a synchronous rectifier controller, which is designed to be coupled with MOSFETs to replace the loss Schottky rectifier in power supply based on flyback or resonant converter topology.

Diodes ZXGD3113 is a type of synchronous rectifier controller designed to couple mosFeTs to replace lossless Schottky rectiters in power supplies based on flyback or resonant converter topologies.

The ZXGD3113 controls an external MOSFET, such as 100 V 16 millioeur N-channel DMT10H015LPS, configured to work as an ideal diode. Replacing Schottky rectiators with ZXGD3113+MOSFET can significantly improve the efficiency of AC/DC power supplies targeted at industrial, consumer and telecommunications markets.

This eliminates the need for heat sinks to save space due to increased efficiency compared to lossless Schottky rectifiers. In addition, the smaller form factor SOT26 reduces the solution size of the industry standard SO8. By working up to 250 kHz, PSU designers can use smaller transformers, further saving on space and BOM costs.
