Diodes introduces a high precision operational amplifier (opamp) with stabilized input Offset voltage (VOS) for automotive signal conditioning applications. The Micropower op-amp AS333Q is a single-channel version of the two-channel op-amp AS2333Q designed for electrofluometry and signal detection for a variety of on-board functions, including airbags, position sensors, vehicle occupant sensors, on-board chargers (OBCs), wireless chargers, and battery management systems (BMS).
In automotive design, brushless direct current (BLDC) motors and electronic control units (ECUs) are increasingly used in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). These applications require sophisticated operational amplifiers to regulate precise analog signals. The AS333Q uses a truncated stable low input offset voltage (VOS = 8µV) and virtually zero temperature drift (0.02µV/°C) to maintain high accuracy over the entire Common-Mode input voltage range.
In addition, the AS333Q can handle inputs other than rail-to-rail common mode, thus supporting both input and ground potential reference signals. The very low density of 1.1µV/√Hz low-frequency noise helps to improve the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), while the low static current of 17 µA (typical) represents equipment that must continue to operate even if the vehicle engine stops.the AS333Q is AEC-Q100 Grade 1 compliant, manufactured in IATF 16949 certified production facilities, and PPAP approved. The AS333Q is packaged as SOT25.
