Diodes introduces its new family of automotive compatible CMOS clock buffers

     Diodes Incorporated announced the launch of its new family of automotive compatible clock buffers designed to operate at low power consumption at ambient temperatures up to 105°C, which can be found in applications and automotive gateways in both advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and infotainment systems.

     The increasing maturity of automotive electronics leads to more complex system clock trees. The increasing number of clock signals is increasing the need for clock buffers that can provide low jitter and low skew while minimizing system power consumption.

     The clock buffer series is implemented using a low-power CMOS process with input voltages ranging from 1.5V to 3.3V. All clock inputs are aligned and synchronized to maintain low skew, and the CMOS design introduces minimal phase noise, resulting in extremely low additional jitter.

     The series includes PI6C49CB01Q (one differential input, one single-ended output), PI6C49CB02Q (one single-ended input, two single-ended outputs), and PI6C49CB04xQ (one single-ended input, four single-ended outputs). All inputs and outputs are compatible with LVCMOS/LVTTL signal levels. These parts are AECQ-100 compliant with full PPAP support and manufactured in IATF16949 certified facilities.
