Diodes introduces new series of high side/Low side gate drivers

     Diodes introduces a new line of high voltage, high speed gate drivers for converters, frequency converters, motor control, and Class D power amplifiers. These devices are suitable for motor driven applications up to 100V, and can support power conversion and reversal applications operating at 200V. These features make it ideal for a variety of consumer and industrial designs, including power tools, robots and drones, as well as small electric vehicles.

     The DGD2003S8, DGD2005S8 and DGD2012S8 are 200V gate drivers covering half-bridge and high/low side topologies and are available in the standard low-slung SO 8 package. These devices feature junction isolation level offset technology to establish floating channel high-side drivers for bootup topologies operating at up to 200V and to drive two n-channel MOSFETs using a half-bridge configuration. Both are available in SO-8 packages and operate in a wide temperature range from -40°C to +125°C

     All devices in this family have standard TTL/CMOS logic inputs that include Schmitt triggers and can operate at a minimum of 3.3V, making it easy to connect the driver to the control circuit. The output is designed to withstand negative transients and includes undervoltage locks for both high - and low-side drivers.

     DGD2003S8 and DGD2005S8 have 290mA and 600mA source and drain currents respectively, and DGD2012S8 are 1.9A and 2.3A, maintaining power efficiency in their ranges. DGD2003S8 has a fixed internal stagnation time of 420ns, while DGD2005S8 has a maximum propagation time of 30ns when switching between high side and low side.
