The PI3HDX12211 is Diodes' latest HDMI linear transfer drive and the industry's first HDMI 2.1 compliant. The PI3HDX12211 supports speeds of up to 12Gbit/s per channel with transparency in channel link training, rate and coding. This product provides ultra-low signal latency to ensure excellent signal integrity in high performance applications.

HDMI 2.1 is the latest specification for HDMI, enabling higher video resolution and update rates. The bandwidth is increased to 48Gbit/s, so you can transfer uncompressed 8K HDR video.

The transparent nature of the PI3HDX12211 means that the transfer driver is protocol free and can support both static and dynamic HDR. Devices implementing HDMI 2.1 can transmit static/dynamic HDR relay data through this interface. The PI3HDX12211 features four programmable linear equalization, linear output amplitude and flat gain differential channels that can be controlled via an I2C interface or pin setup.

The PI3HDX12211 operates on 3.3V power, consumes only 220mW per channel, and maintains a linear output amplitude of 1200mV peak-to-peak. With ever-higher video resolution, the PI3HDX12211 delivers the latest visual experience on notebook and desktop computers, game consoles, digital TVS and set-top boxes, docking stations and peripheral devices.
